What a beautiful Campground in every way! It’s a small Campground and very quiet. They have outdoor games to play, a full stocked camp store and the grounds are immaculate! The owners and everyone in the area we encountered are SO friendly. The sites with full hookup are back-ins and back up to a little stream. The fire pits are located there and it’s so nice at night. There’s a lot to do in the area: hiking (Stone Mountain, Pilot Mountain, Carter Falls that you can walk to from the Campground and many, many more); wineries (too many to even begin the list); the town of Elkin is so much fun to explore with its shops, restaurants and the Reeves Theater; Mt. Airy (about a 40-minute drive). All-in-all, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
