Elkin E-bikes – Hop on and Enjoy the Ride!

Electric bicycles or e-bikes are the new aged way of going for a bike ride. Electric bicycles are motorized bicycles with an integrated electric motor. They handle obstacles and allow you to travel further without getting tired, which makes them great for physical activities and individuals who have trouble exercising due to injury, weight etc. There are many kinds of e-bikes from ones that assist in the pedaling process to bikes that add more speed.

Charging an e-bike can take up to 24hrs. and with relaxed pedaling can go 20-50 miles on a single charge or roughly last 1 month before needing to charge again. The cost of e-bikes most commonly run from 1,500-4,000. They have fat and skinny tires some meant for terrain others for street riding, so you’ll want to pick the right tire for you. Most laws classify e-bikes in the bicycle category which allows you to operate one without special licenses or certifications.
