What an excellent campground. We pulled in for an overnight traveling to SC. We stayed in a tent site. Meticulously clean at the site and very quiet. Bathrooms were the cleanest we have ever used in 40 years of camping. Highly recommend.

Awesome campground with great owners. Our go-to place for a quiet weekend. It has hiking, a small stream for the kids (and dogs) to play in, disk golf, and now a GEM MINE. Very fun time.

Delightful small RV park just outside of Elkin. They take great care of the place. Many sites along a small brook. Trails to Carter Falls are right next door. Can walk to nearby Grassy Creek winery, or short drive to Many other wineries. Elkin is a cute little town...

We enjoyed a very lovely weekend at Byrd’s branch campground. Listening to the frogs at night and birds during the day, very relaxing. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

There is plenty of space for camping, whether RV or tent. Cute camp store (allowed myself ice cream on a particularly hot day). Wonderful hiking trails to Carter Falls (where you can relax submerged in several pools of water). My dog particularly enjoyed the creek...
